Kuen Jaan Trading Co., Ltd Since 1971~
Kuen Jaan was founded by Chairman Cheng-Chang Chen in 1971, and it was originally a small hardware retailing store selling different kinds of products to factories, military, and government-owned business units. After a period of hard work, in 1984, Kuen Jaan created BLACK HAND as its own brand name and focused on hand tools. In the same year, President Cheng-Chang Chen was elected to be the chairman of Kaohsiung Hardware Association. In 1985, Kuen Jaan started to introduce “BLACK HAND” as high-quality tools made in Taiwan to end users. Black Hand tools offer professionals excellent-performance tools and obtain good reputation in Taiwan market. Until now, “BLACK HAND” has become the well-known brand of tools in Taiwan and developed into international markets.
In 1998, our president was elected to be the chairman of the National Joint Association of Hardware of R.O.C. Meanwhile, the chairman's son and current general manager, Mr. Weihao Chen, acquired MBA from California State University, Los Angeles, joined into the company. After several years, he decided to transform business style to be the agent of international well-known brands in Taiwan market. Kuen Jaan became the sole agent of WD40, multiple function lubricant from USA, in 2004. At the same year, Kuen Jaan also obtained the agency of SUPERTOOLS from Japan and Permatex chemical products from USA. Kuen Jaan walked into a new decade and the business grew up rapidly since 2004.
Kuen Jaan, in the professional areas, has excellent reputation of selling high-quality products and service. In additions, Kuen Jaan, based in Kaohsiung, has 2 office buildings (one is six floors, 6500 square feet, the other is five floors, 8500 square feet) to operate its business. Kuen Jaan will keep moving forward to offer better quality and service to customers in the future.
